Railroad Crossing Replacement Closes Kill Buck Road Late July
The Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad announced it would close County Road 49, known as Kill Buck Road, from July 29 through July 31 to replace the railroad crossing near the hamlet of Kill Buck. The closure affects a key connector road used by residents traveling between Kill Buck and the surrounding Town of Great Valley. Officials said the work is necessary to keep the crossing safe for both rail and vehicle traffic over the long term. Drivers were urged to plan alternate routes during the three-day shutdown.
