Hinsdale to Dedicate Park in Memory of Crosby Dairy Family
The Hinsdale Historical Society will dedicate a new park in front of the town's Fire Department as Crosby Park this Saturday at 1 p.m. The naming honors Howard Crosby and the Crosby family, whose dairy farm was a longtime fixture of the Hinsdale community. The short ceremony is open to residents who want to learn more about the family's history and its ties to the hamlet. It's the latest project from the historical society to mark local landmarks and preserve Hinsdale's agricultural heritage.
