Route 62 Bridge Repairs in Conewango Clear Environmental Review

The New York State Department of Transportation completed its environmental review for a project to repair three bridge crossings along US Route 62 in the Town of Conewango, covering spans over Conewango Creek, a state drain ditch, and the Conewango overflow near the NY 83 intersection. State officials issued a negative declaration, finding the work would not cause significant adverse environmental impact, and a related historic-preservation review found no adverse effect on a nearby historic property.
