Belmont/Communal
Allegany County residents have raised more than $17,000 to send Christmas care packages to the crew of the USS Jason Dunham. A community packing party is set for 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, at American Legion Post 808 in Belmont. The Wellsville Sun described the response as an extraordinary show of local support.
