Wellsville/Arts & Photography
The Wellsville Creative Arts Center's Wednesday open mic has now run for two decades, giving musicians, comedians, poets and storytellers of every experience level a free stage. Sign-ups start at 5:30 p.m. and performances begin at 6 p.m., with each act allowed up to three songs or 15 minutes. Founder Andy Glanzman said the night has always been about giving local talent a place to share something they love, and regular performers describe the crowd as warm and attentive. Scotty's Common Table runs the center's cafe during the event.
