Olean/Schools
The Cattaraugus County Youth Bureau named Olean High School senior Jazmyne Brantley its first Youth of the Week for the 2026-27 school year. Brantley has spent four years volunteering at East View and Washington West elementary schools, helps with Meals on Wheels and the Olean Community Schools Thanksgiving Dinner, and represents the BOCES Early Childhood Education program in SkillsUSA. She is an honor roll student, cheerleader and basketball player, and received the Harold Dutton Award for kindness and compassion. She plans to study to become an elementary teacher and hopes to one day open her own childcare center.
